Tips
Temperature Cook at 180-185°C. Any higher will damage your oil. Turn to 140°C (use your thermostat) when not frying
Cooking time Approx 3 minutes
Chip thickness Use a thick cut chip - 12mm or bigger. Do not allow to thaw before cooking
Limited oil absorption Straight cut and wedges are best - crinkle cut and straw cut chips absorb more oil.
Maintaining Oil Keep it clean
Skim and filter oil regularly
Use a separate fryer for cooking chips
Use a good quality oil
