| Temperature |
Cook at 180-185°C. Any higher will damage your oil. Turn to 140°C (use your thermostat) when not frying |

Approx 3 minutes |
| Chip thickness |
Use a thick cut chip - 12mm or bigger. Do not allow to thaw before cooking |
| Limited oil absorption |
Straight cut and wedges are best - crinkle cut and straw cut chips absorb more oil. |

Keep it clean Skim and filter oil regularly Use a separate fryer for cooking chips Use a good quality oil |
