Tomato Basil & Mushroom Pasta

- 1 tablespoon Crisco® Canola oil
- 1 Large white Onion
- Teaspoon Crushed Garlic
- 2 Tomatoes (Peeled and Chopped)
- 1 Table Spoon Tomato Paste
- 1 Teaspoon Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Basil (Finely Chopped)
- 10 Button Mushrooms
- Black Pepper to Season
- 1 Pack of Penne Pasta
- 1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese

- Sauce - Heat CRISCO CANOLA Oil in a saucepan. Cook Onion & garlic until Onion in soft. Add Tomatoes, Tomato Paste, Sugar & Basil (30g).
- Simmer - Simmer for 25min until sauce has thickened. Add Mushrooms & cook for a further 5 min, (season to taste).
- Pasta - Cook Pasta in salted water until tender, drain thoroughly. Place Pasta into serving dish, Sauce & Garnish with Parmesan Cheese & Basil
