To celebrate the precision, artistry and craftsmanship of Australia’s best knife makers, we’ve teamed up with the Sydney Knife Show to give away one of the finest examples in the market.
We know that a quality chefs’ knife is one of the most important tools of the trade and we believe that Australia possesses some of the best in the business. We’ve already explored the best factory knives and some of the best bespoke knife makers and are excited by the steel on show at Rosehill Racecourse on the 5th- 6th August.
If you’d like to take home a Bruce Barnet Texas Wind 180mm Chef Knife, all you need to do is enter your details in the form below. Three runner ups will receive tickets to the show as a consolation prize.
Bruce Barnett is a well-respected Australian maker and is registered as a Journeyman Bladesmith with the ABS (American Bladesmith Society), and moving ever closer to attaining his mastersmith qualification (there are just over 100 Mastersmiths globally so this is quite the achievement).
Bruce’s Texas Wind blade is technically pattern welded steel at 180mm long and manufactured by forge welding and texturing two types of high carbon steels, that when etched in acid give the amazing contrast in colours.
