Rice bran oil is extracted from the hard outer layer of the rice grain called chaff. It is well known in the industry for its high smoke point (232 oC/450 oF) and mild flavour. Due to its nature, rice bran oil is most favoured for shallow frying, deep frying, baking and stir frying.
