Apricot, Honey and Granola Bar

Are you catering for kids or for the local cafe? These Granola, Apricot and Honey Bars are jam-packed with flavour and can be made in a few simple steps.
Makes 20, scale as needed.

Ingredients

1 kg White Wings Rolled Oats
500 g Brown Sugar
480 g Dried Apricots
16 g Ground Cinnamon
1 kg White Wings Plain Flour
1 kg Raisins
40 g Salt
960 mL Honey
8 each Eggs
960 mL Simply Vegetable Oil
80 mL Vanilla Essence

Method

Step 1

Add the White Wings Plain Flour to a mixing bowl, along with the brown sugar and cinnamon. Then, add the White Wings Rolled Oats, dried raisins and salt.

Step 2

Slice the dried apricots into thirds, then add them to the mixture. Using your hands, mix the ingredients together.

Step 3

In a separate bowl, add the vanilla essence, honey, Simply Vegetable Oil and the eggs. Whisk the ingredients until they are well blended and the eggs have been broken down.

Make a well in the middle of the dry ingredients bowl, then pour in the wet ingredients. Give it a good stir and make sure it has blended together.

Step 5

Pour the mixture into a lined baking tray and place in the oven at 165 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes. Once it has cooked through, allow it to cool down before slicing into medium-sized bars.
