Chocolate Involtini

The Chocolate Involtini combines rich golden pastry, with a layer of chocolate and crunch from the muesli. Quick to create and quick to be ordered - they're perfect for as an afternoon snack option for your menu.
Makes 10, scale as needed.

Ingredients

3 each Pampas Puff Pastry Sheets
150 g Milk Chocolate
105 g Natural Style Muesli
1 each Egg
20 mL Fortune Vegetable Oil
10 g Cinnamon Sugar
10 each Strawberries

Method

Involtini Indgredients

Step 1

Melt your chocolate in a simple water bath, using a bowl over a hot saucepan. You can use any chocolate variety you like (white, dark etc.).

Take your Pampas Puff Pastry Sheets, brush with chocolate and cut each sheet into quarters, leaving approximately 1cm from the edge on two of the sides.

Step 3

Sprinkle the Natural Muesli over each square and brush the bare corner with egg wash. Roll the pastry from corner to corner in the shape of a cigar, ending at the bare edge. Brush the folded pastry with the egg wash before baking.

Step 4

Place on a tray and in a pre-heated oven at 200 degrees and bake for 12 minutes, or until golden. Leave to cool on a rack.

Step 5

Plate up with any left over chocolate, and a selection of berries. Dust with cinnamon sugar to serve.
